Steam oven stopped filling and threw a code at us. Denver water is hard enough that the inlet valve had furred up solid. He descaled the line, fitted a valve, and showed me what came out.

The convection fan screeched at high heat, then gave up mid-bake. Dry bearing, and a blade was clipping the shroud. New motor fitted, and you can hold a conversation in that kitchen again.
